The Vineyards

The vineyards are located at 900 meters above sea level in a valley formed by two mountain ranges of 1,000 and 1,100 m high. The distances to the mountains are 0-700 m.

The yield production is very low. Yields per hectare are between 2,000 and 4,000 under rain-fed.nThe plants are in Gobelet pruning, so the grape-picking of our harvest is made by hand, with a total respect for the natural environment of the valley. Almost the 80% of the vineyard is with Pie Franco (without american root) and the age average of the vines is around 30 years old.

100% of the vineyards are bio certified, immersed in a beautiful landscape full of biodiversity: almond trees, olive trees, wild bushes… Only one preventive treatment with sulfur per year is enough to keep the crop healthy. You can find hares, partridges, quails, wild boars, eagles, hawks, finches, sparrows, larks…
